NEBOSH Diploma - DN3

NEBOSH qualifications are held in high regard by organisations in all industry and the Nebosh Diploma is a natural progression from the Nebosh General Certificate which provides a level 6 qualification. The General Certificate is now considered prior learning and you must complete it before progressing to the Diploma level.

The Nebosh National Diploma provides the core health and safety knowledge which is transferable across industry, commerce, and the public sector. It is designed to provide the underpinning knowledge essential for a person pursuing a professional career in the health and safety sector.

The qualification is divided into two parts and three units, each of which is assessed separately.

Part 1 – Knowledge/thinking/planning

  • DN1 – Know workplace health and safety principles – Assignment

Part 2 – DO - Health

  • DN2 Do – controlling workplace health issues (UK) – Case study open book exam

Part 3 – DO - Safety

  • DN3 Do – controlling workplace safety issues (UK) - Case study open book exam

Delegates can choose to complete individual units in any order over a five-year period will be awarded a certificate for each unit passed.

Please note as above: this qualification can be completed over a maximum term of five years, which allows ample time for study for those who wish to complete gradually.  The average time for completion of the full course is 12-15 months.

Will be provided by Training Solutions (NI) Ltd.  Please contact us if you intend purchasing your own textbooks prior to attending the course so that we can advise you of the correct publisher and edition that will be used for the course.

The breakdown of costs is £3355 plus £705 registrations and materials

The cost per Unit is as follows.

  • DN1 £1700 plus VAT,
  • DN2 £1250 plus VAT
  • DN3 £1110 plus VAT.
