This 18th Edition qualification is primarily aimed at practicing electricians with relevant experience and other allied professionals to update and enhance their understanding of IEE Wiring Regulations.  It is intended to ensure that individuals are conversant with the format, content, and application of the Requirements for Electrical Installations BS 7671 2018+Amendment 2; 18th Edition Wiring Regulations including Amendment 2.

ACCIDENT Investigation Course

Investigation of incidents and accidents is a crucial means of reducing the risk of the accident occurring again.  This course will be valuable for managers, supervisors, safety officers, safety representatives and anyone with the responsibility for accident investigation or who may be part of an accident investigation team.

Course Objectives

Upon completion of this course delegates will understand;

• The process and purpose of carrying out accident investigations
• The legal and organizational requirements regarding the reporting and recording of accident in the workplace.
• Broad understanding of accident investigation
• Comprehensive understanding or R.I.D.D.O.R.
• Applicable accident and incident reporting and investigating procedures
• Strategies to ensure that organisations learn from safety failures

This three day course includes both theory and practical content and is relevant to those people who may be required to multi-task in the workplace e.g. those who carry out maintenance work.  Delegates will have an overview of current Electricity at Work Regulations and Approved Code of Practice and will be taught basic electrical tasks that they can carry out safely whilst being fully aware of their limitations.

Candidates who complete the course will be awarded with a Training Solutions (NI) Ltd certificate which will state all that was covered in the course.  It is important to point out that this is a ‘basic electrical’ training course and those who complete it will only be able to carry out basic electrical tasks and will know when it is necessary to employ the services of a competent electrician.

This is a half day course which provides an overview of the various duties under the CDM Regulations.

Half day Awareness Training

The CSR scheme aims to raise health and safety standards and reduce risks and accidents in the construction industry, by ensuring that all construction employees undertake health and safety training every four years. Applicants receive a photographic identity card which provides proof of their health and safety training and their skills and qualifications if appropriate.

This course is aimed at all construction personnel ranging from apprentice level to those considered experts in their field.
