Course Objectives

• Practical understanding and application of legal requirements

• Selection of correct machine and tooling for job being carried out

• Setup, purpose and adjustment of guards and safety devices including jigs, push-sticks and work holders

• Safe working practices including setting, feeding, taking off and maintenance and keeping a clean work area.
