This course is designed to enable attendees to provide basic workplace instruction on the tasks and activities that are undertaken in their working area, as well as providing them with knowledge of all the associated Health & Safety Legislation.  The course is for Supervisors, Workshop and Stores Personnel and anyone else who handles materials at work.

Objective

1. To enable delegates to deliver training sessions on manual handling techniques;
2. To enable delegates to undertake manual handling risk assessments;
3. To demonstrate the safe methods of handling in various commonly encountered industrial situations;
4. To understand the Legal requirements regarding manual handling
